EPICT is an organization providing modular technology accreditation in eight areas of learning, including e-safety.

Discovery CLC support

The Discovery CLC is an accredited training centre and staff provide one to one support on an individual basis to registered teachers and teaching assistants. Registration is via the CLC and the contact is Michael McManus through email: michaelmcmanus@discoveryclc.co.uk

Charges

EPICT charges £90 per individual teacher, or teaching assistant to enroll for any amount of modules. There is certification at Bronze, Silver and Gold levels depending on the number of modules undertaken up to a maximum of eight. There is no time limit on completion of modules and no further cost.

What’s involved?

Typically the process involves researching and reporting on the research undertaken, planning and delivery of an activity, evaluation of how it went and what next. An assignment is produced of up to 1000 words with supporting evidence such as a lesson plan, feedback from the pupils, or photographs of the activity for example.
